Ian Snape
Ian Snape
Ian is a former research leader at the Australian Antarctic Division, where he led 14 expeditions across both polar regions. He now coaches CEOs, Olympic athletes, and frontline professionals, drawing on decades of experience in science, leadership, and high-performance environments.
Ian held Professorial Fellowships at the University of Melbourne and Macquarie University and has published over 100 academic papers across diverse fields. A black belt in both Taekwondo and Hapkido, he also thrives in flow - whether ski mountaineering, climbing, or sailing competitively.
Zhen Goh
Zhen Goh
Zhen is a social scientist specialising in sensemaking in complex human systems. After researching applied behavioural patterns, Zhen worked as a consultant change agent and lead trainer for Cognitive Edge for 11 years. She is globally recognised for her work in narrative, complexity and leadership.
Zhen has been collaborating with Frontline Mind from the beginning, and recently joined Frontline Mind as an Associate. Based in Singapore, Zhen leads our international programs.
Greg Hince
Greg Hince
Greg brings nearly 30 years’ experience as an executive, scientist, and project manager across government, defence, and private sectors. He is Head of Training at Frontline Mind, co-founder of The Coaching Space, and a Chief Petty Officer in the Royal Australian Navy.
Greg has led science, engineering, and defence teams, and lectures in leadership, communication, and innovation design. He specialises in systems thinking and workflow optimisation—helping teams perform at their best in complex, high-risk environments.
McKeira Cumming
McKeira Cumming
With a background in marine science and education, McKeira has travelled to Antarctica and explored some of the most extreme environments on Earth. Her career has also spanned speech pathology and trauma education, giving her deep insight into human behaviour, communication, and resilience.
At Frontline Mind, McKeira brings together science, education, and multidisciplinary teamwork to manage data, analyse patterns, and write reports that support organisations working in high-pressure environments. Her work helps translate complex human experiences into clear insights that strengthen resilience, leadership, and decision making.
David Hesse
David Hesse
David is an experienced leader who has operated in high performance sporting and corporate environments for the past 25 years. He has extensive experience in developing and leading high-performance cultures through people, process and system-led change in both the UK and US.
David has coached executives, middle managers and elite athletes. He is currently training the next generation of leaders and coaches to address challenges related to individual, team and organisational performance.
Melanie Irons
Melanie Irons
Melanie is a psychologist dedicated to helping people and communities recover, adapt, and thrive. With experience across emergency response, clinical practice, and public service, she led resilience work after Tasmania’s Dunalley bushfires and has supported programs across government, justice, and education. Known for connecting science with real-world care, she has worked with veterans, responders, and young people in crisis. At Frontline Mind, Melanie designs and delivers training that is compassionate, practical, and grounded in evidence. Beyond her professional work, she is a proud mum, community advocate, and researcher who enjoys surfing Tasmania’s wild coastline.
Gary Kuehn
Gary Kuehn
Gary is an internationally certified IFMGA and UIAGM mountain and ski guide with more than 20 years of experience in heli ski operations, avalanche forecasting, and leadership in remote environments. He has guided on every continent and has worked as a safety officer, avalanche forecaster, and New Zealand Mountain Guides Association instructor and assessor.
At Frontline Mind, Gary coaches recovery and resilience for outdoor guides and snow safety professionals, drawing on his background as a wilderness first aid instructor, Antarctic field leader, and safety trainer. His work as a research engineer gives him a systems based perspective on resilience and performance.
Anna Tayler
Anna Tayler
Anna Tayler is a wellbeing specialist, organisational development practitioner, and coach with over 15 years’ experience across academic and professional roles in the university sector. Her work centres on supporting women in leadership experiencing burnout. For more than a decade, Anna has partnered with high-performing women to uncover unhelpful patterns and beliefs, drawing on behaviour change science and positive psychology to enable sustainable change. She helps leaders move out of survival mode and reconnect with clarity, confidence, and choice. Anna is known for her thoughtful questions and ability to create space for honest reflection, even in high-pressure environments.
Tim Ulewicz
Tim Ulewicz
Tim provides the style to Frontline Mind, bringing the brand to life with his illustrations and animations. A street artist, Painter, Illustrator and creative, Tim has had a wide-ranging career spanning 20 years creating everything from large scale murals, editorial illustrations to concepting premiership rugby team logos and illustrating city wide campaigns.
Based in the UK, Tim has been with Frontline Mind from the beginning, continuing to develop the visual elements of the brand. The visual metaphors Tim creates are a key component of Frontline Mind training programs.
